Delivery Information

Let’s make delivering your order as swift and simple as we can by saying here and now that we will deliver your orders to the UK, which includes the UK mainland, Scotland (including its islands), Northern Ireland for FREE!!

The only proviso I can add to that is that some Scottish Islands may take a little longer on occasion as the last few miles to your island is often completed by independent boat operators and, with the best will in the world, the weather and the sea can delay your deliveries, but you all know that already, so please bear that in mind when ordering.

Monday through to Friday (before 9:00am)- Your order will leave on the next working day.

Orders taken over the weekend (or after 9:00am Friday) will be shipped on Monday.

If you have forgotten that important deadline & need your order faster, we offer a Tracked 48 and 24 delivery service- please note dispatch deadlines above.

Unfortunately, we cannot currently offer international sales (sales outside of the UK)

Returns Policy

This policy is offered in addition to your legal rights¹.

At Blanket World we offer notice to return a product of up to 16 days from the arrival date, the arrival date is classed as the day the courier makes the final scan at your delivery address². The goods must arrive at Blanket World 14 days later.

To notify Blanket World of a return please email (returns@blanketworld.co.uk) please remember to include the details of the original order, such as the order number, your name & postcode, and let us know if you wish to return your order for an exchange or for a refund.

Help us by carefully refolding your blanket and ensure that all labels etc are attached, additional display packaging such as ‘blanket bands’ must also accompany your blanket return. Please also include your order number, your name & postcode.

For returns (outside of your statutory rights) you must pay for and arrange postage. Please ensure that it is covered for damage or loss whilst on its way back to us & has a tracking number and that it will be received within the 14 day period³ . Please note we will deduct a £3.95 restocking fee from your refund to cover cleaning and ironing, we also retain the right to deduct up to 95% of the value of each item due damage or wear and tear where the item has not just been checked but used. Please note: if you paid to upgrade your initial order delivery to one of the quicker 24 or 48 hour delivery services, the additional cost of that quicker delivery cannot be refunded.

We aim to process a return & refund within 5 working days after receipt, it may be a tiny bit slower at busy times of the year.

All refunds are sent back to the original payment method used.

Our hope is that everyone will respect the return to base refund within the 21 days of delivery.

All final scan tracking numbers can be independently verified for timings of your blankets delivery to you by visiting the Royal Mail Track & Trace website here: https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item and entering your tracking number provided to you in the purchase emails automatically sent to you when placing your order. ↩︎
3. Please do not attempt to return any blankets that are not going to arrive back to us within the 14 days returns postage period, as these blankets will be sold off site as second hand at a discounted price as no longer classed as brand new, we in turn will deduct £50 from the refund amount for each blanket should customers decide to still send blankets back to us. This is in addition to a £3.95 restocking fee from your refund to cover cleaning and ironing, we also retain the right to deduct up to 95% of the value per item due damage or wear and tear where the item has not just been checked but used. ↩︎
