Returns Policy
This policy is offered in addition to your legal rights1.
If you need to return a product to us, you need to notify us within 16 days of its arrival. The arrival date is classed as the day the courier makes the final scan at your delivery address2. The goods must arrive back at Blanket World within 14 days of notification.
To notify Blanket World of a return, please email returns@blanketworld.co.uk. Please remember to include the details of the original order, such as the order number, your name & postcode, and let us know if you wish to return your order for an exchange or for a refund.
Help us by carefully refolding your blanket and ensure that all labels etc are attached, additional display packaging such as ‘blanket bands’ must also accompany your blanket return. Please also include your order number, your name & postcode in the package.
For returns (outside of your statutory rights) you must pay for and arrange postage. Please ensure that it is covered for damage or loss whilst on its way back to us & has a tracking number and that it will be received within the 14 day period3 . Please note we will deduct a £3.95 restocking fee from your refund to cover cleaning and ironing, we also retain the right to deduct up to 95% of the value per item due damage or wear and tear where the item has not just been checked but used. Please note: if you paid to upgrade your initial order delivery to one of the quicker 24 or 48 hour delivery services, the additional cost of that quicker delivery cannot be refunded.
We aim to process a return & refund within 5 working days after receipt, it may be a tiny bit slower at busy times of the year.
All refunds are sent back to the original payment method used.

- All final scan tracking numbers can be independently verified for timings of your blanket’s delivery to you by visiting the Royal Mail Track & Trace website here: https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item and entering the tracking number provided to you in the purchase emails automatically sent to you when placing your order. ↩︎
- Please do not attempt to return any blankets that are not going to arrive back to us within the 14 days returns postage period, as these blankets will be sold off site as second hand at a discounted price as no longer classed as brand new, we in turn will deduct £50 from the refund amount for each blanket should customers decide to still send blankets back to us. This is in addition to a £3.95 restocking fee from your refund to cover cleaning and ironing, we also retain the right to deduct up to 95% of the value per item due damage or wear and tear where the item has not just been checked but used. ↩︎
